Our Services for Your Well-being and Quality of Life
The Centro de Medicina Natural Canaris (CMNC) is a specialized practice for Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, naturopathy, and nutritional medicine.
CMNC stands out for its wide range of therapies for various diseases and health issues, as well as its collaboration with specialized therapists.
Founded in 2006, CMNC - the Canary Islands Natural Medicine Center – was born! Our philosophy:
These are the first steps toward healing and health. That is exactly our philosophy!
Illness changes a person – especially chronic diseases and pain.
It creates fear, which burdens the soul. Fear causes stress, reducing every thought and interest to the illness itself.
Understanding the disease as a whole creates hope for improvement and healing, which in turn enhances quality of life.

Puerto de la Cruz – Healing Climate in Northern Tenerife
A port town located beneath the picturesque Orotava Valley.
Tenerife – and especially the port of Puerto de la Cruz (formerly Puerto de la Orotava) – has served as a trading hub for supplies and key exports such as wine and sugar since the 16th century. The merchants were primarily British, dominating the wine trade to England, but Portuguese and French traders also came to Puerto de la Orotava and conducted business from there. Alexander von Humboldt visited Tenerife during his research travels and fell in love with the Orotava Valley.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, the importance of the port continued to grow after the main northern port in Garachico became unusable due to a severe volcanic eruption. In 1808, Puerto Orotava was renamed Puerto de la Cruz and became an independent city. In 1893, the first large hotel, the Taoro Grand Hotel, opened.
The first “long-term tourists” on the island were English visitors who came to Tenerife seeking the healing effects of the climate for lung diseases, neurological disorders, and rheumatism. the middle of the Atlantic, on the island of eternal spring – Tenerife, at the foot of Mount Teide, lies the CMNC, the Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Naturopathy.
